One of my friends has been unemployed for several years. He ran out of unemployment compensation a while back. I have tried to help him by making him a nice resume and submitting it to job listings via Monster.
He sabotages himself by going on interviews and talking about his health problems- which are minor. He has applied for disability several times but it would seem he is too healthy and energetic.
I found a great job but he needs to go apply for it on Monday, the drop dead deadline. I have called him and he is supposed to get a hair cut this week-end and go on Monday.
I'm going to be pissed if he blows this one. No more help from me anymore.
I can't help you if you won't help yourself.
